TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: January 1, 2024
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Fine Custom Boxes UK website and services. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using any service, you agree to comply with these Terms.
We may update or replace any part of these Terms at our sole discretion. Please review this page periodically.
2. Account Registration
Some features may require account creation. You must provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach. We are not liable for losses caused by failure to protect your account.
3. Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, shipping method and destination. We work with third-party carriers and are not liable for delays, damages or losses during transit.
Customers are responsible for shipping fees, duties, taxes and international charges. Risk of loss transfers once goods are handed to the carrier.
5. Returns & Refunds
Due to customised production, all sales are final. We provide a limited warranty against manufacturing defects only. Defect claims must be reported within 30 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
Custom packaging cannot be returned unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed. Design errors approved by the customer, standard colour tolerances, or requirement changes after production begins are not eligible for refund.
6. Defective Products
A defect is a failure to meet published specifications due to manufacturing error. Not considered defects:
- Minor colour variations within industry-standard tolerances
- Slight dimensional variations within ±2mm
- Shipping/handling damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues caused by non-compliant artwork files
For verified defects, our sole remedy is replacement or refund at our discretion.
7. Artwork & Graphics Submission
You must provide print-ready files meeting our specs (CMYK, 300 DPI, correct bleed, outlined text). We are not responsible for print quality issues caused by incorrect files. Additional charges may apply for file corrections.
8. Colour Proofing
Digital proofs are for layout approval only. Colour may differ due to screen calibration, printing methods and materials. For strict colour matching, request physical proofs or specify Pantone colours (extra charges may apply).
9. Customer Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Fine Custom Boxes UK a non-exclusive licence to use it solely for producing and fulfilling your order. You confirm you have rights/permissions and your content does not infringe third-party rights.
10. Quantity Variations
We may deliver quantities within ±10% due to manufacturing processes. Billing will reflect the actual quantity delivered.

17. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order, or £100 (whichever is lower). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits or business interruption.
